The FedConnect® Product Bridges the Gap Between Agencies and Vendors Most acquisition systems focus on managing transactions but never address how to incorporate interactions with vendors as part of the automated process. Each year, agencies struggle with how to keep records of vendor responses, emails, faxes, phone calls, and letters from slipping through the cracks. Much of this information is still stored in paper files and never makes it into their acquisition systems as part of the final electronic procurement records. Data that is captured must be manually recorded and processed. The FedConnect® product bridges the gap in the electronic acquisition process by helping agencies to efficiently capture and manage both transactions and interactions with vendors in a structured and secure environment.

Functional Architecture The The FedConnect® product design is based on the service-oriented architecture (SOA) model and uses the latest Internet technology and ASP.NET architecture to provide secure communication throughout the entire procurement process. The FedConnect® product is a fully Web-based, 508 compliant portal application. The only software required to use the vendor portal is a browser and Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing PDF documents. The FedConnect® product can be used with one or more of Compusearch’s PRISM procurement platforms or with any other government contract writing system in conjunction with PRISM or standalone.
