Overview
  • Provides a comprehensive standard reporting capability as part of the COTS application.
  • Standard reports are available for selection via a menu option.
  • Standard reports select data based on user-definable criteria (e.g., date ranges, buyer).
  • Permits the creation of ad hoc reports that can be saved for re-use.
  • The ability to create ad hoc reports is accomplished utilizing a third party report writer.
  • Provided User Views which function as a middle layer between the report writer and the PRISM database.
  • User Views provide the capability to capture a wide range of data by selecting a single view eliminating the need for users to be knowledgeable of system database columns and rows.
  • User Views are maintained by Compusearch.
FPDS-NG: For Civilian Agencies
  • Provides robust Federal Procurement Data System reporting as required for civilian agencies.
  • The NG system validates all data to ensure accurate reporting.
  • If desired, a system configuration switch allows an agency to require the creation of a valid FPDS-NG document prior to allowing document execution.
  • A system configuration switch permits disabling the reporting feature, making reporting optional.
  • A configuration switch can enable reporting for purchase card orders.
  • The system allows the creation of an FPDS-NG record for a mod to an award created prior to FPDS-NG.
FPDS: For DoD Agencies
  • Provides robust Federal Procurement Data System reporting as required for DoD agencies.
  • The system validates all data to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Standard FPDS/DoD reports are generated by the system including the DD-350 and DD-1057.
  • If desired, a system configuration switch allows an agency to require the entry and validation of all required FPDS data prior to allowing document execution.
  • A system configuration switch permits disabling the reporting feature, making reporting optional.
  • A configuration switch can enable reporting for purchase card orders.
  • FPDS/DoD data required for DD-350 and DD-1057 reporting can be extracted to a flat file for electronic submission.
